Michael Gilbert Ronstadt has been offering his
music to audiences on cello, guitar, and voice for sixteen years and is
conversant in a wide range of musical styles. He has performed throughout
the United States, Mexico and Canada for concerts with artists like David
Bromberg, Linda Ronstadt, Murial Anderson, and Lisa Biales.
Collaborating and performing solo, Michael currently tours internationally
with his group Lost In Holland on Vapor Records, presenting their unique
acoustic blend of folk and rock to excited audiences everywhere they go.
In June and July of 2010, his family group Ronstadt Generations made
their summer tour performing all over the east coast and midwest. His cello
playing can be found on Ronstadt Generations (2010) album "Lulo", Lost In
Holland’s "The Last Great Loss" (2009), his own Cotton Dreams Part I & II
(2008), Motionless Swirls (2006) and records by Amber Norgaard, Craig
Bickhardt, Dean Maier, Acarya, Bobby Ronstadt, The Santa Cruz River Band,
Liz Malys, and Petie Ronstadt.
Michael Ronstadt received his Master of Music in Cello Performance from the
University of
Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) in June 2008, and his
Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from the University of Arizona in May
2006.
