Control Room
The control room is super quiet. -- no fans, no CPU's, no 60 cycle hum. Just dead quiet.
That is - until the music starts to play. Then you hear the pure clear sound of
your music.
The floor is made of bamboo, the ceiling is Sonex 1. The walls surrounding
the control room are a minimum 18 inches thick on all sides, with double solid
core doors between studios. The control room overlooks The Live Room
(Studio A) And there's room to stretch out on a comfortable couch. WIFI
Internet and digital TV with head phones are also here for convenience and
comfort.
Above is our Tascam M-3700 automated mixing console. The board is integrated with and controlled by our DAW software. This is a very clean & warm, 120 input, 32 channel strip, analog board. We can bypass the board & go digital direct, but most of the time the feeling & sound of the signal processed through the console us unbeatable. This especially true for drums, percussion, acoustic guitars, amps, electric guitars, analog keyboards and vocals. We also have racks of vintage outboard gear, reverbs, digital delay, compressors etc. All of these (and even yours) can easily be used in the mix process. Now you can get that one effect that you want.
